I don't think so but it is changing. IRC is not as easy to use as your IM services and Facebook hasn't helped either but I wouldn't go as far as to say it was dying. Most of the smaller networks like ours may suffer from this phenomena but things will balance out, old users will return and visit old networks they once called home. Please think about inviting friends to your favorite IRC network, teach them how to use mIRC or X-Chat and tell them to teach someone as well. Perhaps we can get IRC rolling once again.
