The Japanese Defense Ministry has awarded Fujitsu a contract to develop a computer virus. It's purpose is to seek and destroy cyber attacks at the source. This will not be the first time someone used a computer virus to seek out and destroy a threat. Gigabyte, a virus programmer, once developed a virus to attack another virus which was sending victims to her site without her approval. If this Japanese plan turns out to be a good idea, perhaps Gigabyte should be credited with first doing this.
